Ohio Coffee Trail began in Southern Ohio, rooted in Brown County and inspired by a simple idea: locally owned coffee shops can be a gateway to discovering the communities around them.
What started as a local effort to highlight independent coffee shops quickly demonstrated something bigger. Coffee could connect visitors with downtowns, small businesses, local stories, and places they may not have discovered otherwise.
The Trail’s early growth into neighboring communities helped shape the mission Ohio Coffee Trail carries forward today.
Now a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Ohio Coffee Trail is building on those roots and entering its next phase. We’re developing new relationships with coffee shops, communities, tourism organizations, chambers, and other partners while creating more opportunities for people to explore Ohio through coffee.
Southern Ohio will always be where the story began.
Now we’re excited to see where the Trail leads next.
